Bio

Kailei Sin (she/her) is a New York City based dance artist originally from Ashburn, VA. Currently studying in her final year at the Juilliard School, she will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Spring of 2024. Kailei began her dance training at the Ashburn Academy of Dance under the direction of Anne Marie Kimmel and Katie Beliveau and later attended The School at Steps at Broadway under the direction of Kate Thomas. She attended summer programs with American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Joffrey Spectrum, and Arts Umbrella. While at The Juilliard School, she performed works by Tiler Peck, Ohad Naharin, Rena Butler, Trisha Brown, Jamar Roberts, Camille A. Brown, Omar Román de Jesús, John Heginbotham and Shen Wei, among others. Kailei has been frequent collaborator and dancer with Pigeonwing Dance under the direction of Gabrielle Lamb since 2019, performing in the world premiere of Plexus: a work in knots and The Carpet Series. She was awarded the Obremski/Works 2024 VISION Fellowship, was selected for Juilliard’s Choreographic Honors in 2023 and was commissioned as a guest choreographer for the Princeton University Ballet’s Ode Spring Concert in 2024. Kailei is thankful to her family for their unwavering support and eagerly anticipates her future in dance.
