Deadlines

Disability-Related Accommodations Preferred deadline July 1

The Juilliard School will make reasonable disability accommodations for students, family members, guests, and patrons with disabilities. For information on the disability accommodation request process, please visit the Office of Academic Support and Disability Services (OASDS) webpage. To ensure timely accommodation for the academic year, students should submit semester requests as soon as possible, preferably by July 1, 2024.  However, students can submit a request anytime during the semester. Accommodations are not retroactive.

New students needing a disability housing accommodation should complete the housing application process and concurrently request disability accommodations by submitting a Disability Accommodation Request via the Disability Request Form. The app’s icon is the word “Accommodate” in blue. This form only works for students submitting a request for the first time. If you submitted an accommodation request for the audition process, please contact OASDS at [email protected] or call (212) 799-5000, extension 320.

New students will receive their Juilliard network login credentials in early June and will be able to access the Accommodate portal via Juilliard Okta page and clicking on the blue app with the word “Accommodate” written in white on the Okta dashboard to submit a Disability Accommodation Request.

If you need help with the above or have questions or concerns, please contact OASDS via email at [email protected] or call (212) 799-5000, extension 320.

Health Record Form due July 15

All new students are required to submit a Health Record Form by July 15. Please note this form requires a signature from a medical provider. If you have any questions or need assistance with the Health Record Form, please contact Health Services at [email protected] or 212-799-5000 ext. 282.

Late Arrival Request due July 15

All new students are expected to attend New Student Orientation. If you have a professional commitment, medical situation, or other serious matter that could prevent you from fully participating in Orientation, you must submit a late arrival request form by July 15, 2024, available from the Office of Academic Affairs ([email protected]). Late arrival requests are not guaranteed to be approved.

Online Pre-Orientation Program

All new students will participate in an online pre-orientation through Canvas, our Learning Management System. This online pre-orientation provides a wide range of information about the school, specific information for each student's program of study, and required placement assessments.  International students must also complete International Essentials, which explains vital immigration regulations. New students will be invited to the online courses in early June.
