Juilliard Bookstore

An important part of the Juilliard community and a central component of Lincoln Center, the Juilliard Bookstore is an outstanding resource for music-related materials, as well as selected drama and dance books. Located on 66th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam, the Juilliard Bookstore fulfills the needs of a diverse performing arts clientele.

The Juilliard Bookstore carries New York’s largest selection of classical sheet music and scores, music books, and historic CDs and videos. Staffed by service-oriented, professional sales people, the Bookstore stocks more than 30,000 titles of sheet music and scores, from basic repertoire to the hard-to-find. New issues from both small and major publishers are available upon publication, while non-stock titles can be special-ordered at all times.

Virtually every book in print in the United States on the subject of classical music is available from the Juilliard Bookstore, which has proved a magnet for music-lovers worldwide. Since the bookstore also provides course materials for the Juilliard student body and other local music schools, a wide variety of text and technical books is available at prices that take into consideration the students’ limited means.

The Juilliard Bookstore is a unique source for the serious or casual CD collector, offering an unrivaled choice of domestic and imported CDs of legendary conductors, instrumentalists, and singers; historic opera recordings; and works by American and contemporary composers, as well as noteworthy classical videos and DVDs. Additionally, the bookstore carries music accessories, magazines, libretti, computer software, and a full range of gift and souvenir products, including apparel, stationery, and mementos bearing the Juilliard name. A newly designed and expanded Web site (bookstore.juilliard.edu) enables shoppers to browse or order from the bookstore’s large and varied inventory.

Serving the general public year round, the Juilliard Bookstore is open Monday through Saturday. From September through December, hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday,  and from January though August, hours are 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday.
