Full scholarships are available to qualifying candidates.

The deadlines for filing applications for the 2010-11 academic year are as follows:

Feb. 1, 2010 — Early admission (for selected outstanding piano and violin applicants at the discretion of the faculty; please see Entrance Audition Requirements for more information).

March 1, 2010—Regular admission

Audition dates for fall 2010 admission are May 15-20, 2010.

Applications for financial aid are included with the application form. You must submit them with the application for admission. Consideration for scholarships may not be possible for late applications.

Tuition, Fees, Expenses

Due Dates
Except as noted below, students must pay tuition and fees at the time of registration. Students unable to complete payment of their full year's tuition at registration time may choose a deferred payment plan.

Returning Students
All students planning to return for the 2010-11 academic year must pay an advance registration fee of $50, to be submitted by April 17, 2010. This will be credited toward the student's first-semester tuition. It will be refunded only if written notice of the student's withdrawal from Juilliard is received by the Pre-College Office by July 15, 2010.

Withdrawals
If a student is obliged to withdraw after payment of the tuition and fees, the School will retain 10 percent of the tuition fee for each week or part thereof, up to and including the sixth week. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after the sixth week. The date of withdrawal will be the date on which the Pre-College Office is notified in writing. Application, registration, and graduation fees are not refundable. Detailed information is available from the Pre-College Office.
