Meet some of the recent additions to our faculty.

Trumpeter and composer Michael Rodriguez has joined the jazz faculty and began teaching private lessons in the fall. Inspired to pursue music as a career by his father, drummer Roberto Rodriguez, he studied at the New World School of the Arts and the University of Miami before receiving his BA from the New School. He’s had an active touring and performing career and is also a clinician and faculty member at New York University.

I was also in composer mode for a few months, writing and arranging music for a tour with the SF Jazz Collective and special guest/clinician appearances with other universities.
